A few months ago people at ABC News reached out to me after reading my insurgent hit article, “dating tom.” They were making a documentary about Tom Girardi and wanted to interview me about him. They sent a driver and everything. The production team was really good at lighting. They gave me a glow up. And we had a great talk. Originally I was going to dress like a European techno guy, or a lackadaisical tiki bro, but instead went with a more unassuming Gap Kids look for my television debut. At the end of the day, I’m a serious professional.
The doc is called The Housewife and the Hustler and it’s streaming on Hulu today. You can catch it here. Thanks to everyone at ABC, including Eileen Murphy and Jake Lefferman, for taking my little baby Substack seriously and making me a Tom Girardi expert. It’s funny how something you write in 20 minutes lands you on television, while no one else cares about the serious accountability journalism. This whole experience has been an interesting mix of the legal world and the online reality t.v. hive. And of course, it’s a very L.A. story.
I haven’t watched it yet but will be doing it tonight. Come join in.
Anyway, I’ll leave you with this old ad I found for Girardi’s radio show. Call your boy and subscribe to the debaser! Lol bye
