Things have been happening in the Los Angeles mayoral race over the past couple weeks. So-called progressive darlings Kevin De Leon and Karen Bass have announced their candidacies. Forever campaigner Mike Feuer is concerned about clearing homeless encampments in Brentwood. And Joe Buscaino is mistaking Black people for Italians on the campaign trail. Wow.

With that in mind, Los Angeles Magazine recently published my primer on the DWP corruption saga, which stars Mike Feuer. It’s definitely a journey, but it’s the best I could do to make a banal legal scandal into something fun and easy to understand. Voters should know about this.

I also recently went on Consumer Watchdog’s podcast, the Rage for Justice Report, to talk with Jamie Court about the California State Bar’s investigation into Feuer as it relates to the DWP saga. More on that later.
